Position Overview:
We are looking for a proactive QA Engineer to join our QA team. You will focus on API, mobile (iOS/Android), and web app testing, ensuring the robustness of our solutions through both manual and automated testing. This role involves hands-on testing of real devices, particularly for biometric data capture and document validation, as well as collaboration with developers, product managers, and machine learning engineers.
Key Responsibilities:- Execute regression and functional testing for mobile (iOS, Android) and web apps, focusing on real-device testing for document capture and biometric data validation.
- Conduct API testing using Postman, Swagger, to ensure backend stability and performance.
- Troubleshoot and analyze issues using logs (Papertrail, Grafana), browser developer tools (Chrome, Safari), and mobile development environments (Android Studio, Xcode), collaborating closely with developers for swift resolutions.
- Contribute to the creation and maintenance of test documentation (test suits, test cases and test reports).
- Be in the office when necessary for device-specific testing.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 2+ years of experience testing APIs, mobile (iOS, Android), and web apps.
- Proficient in API testing tools (Postman, Swagger) .
- Experience with test management tools (TestRail) and issue tracking systems (Notion).
- Excellent troubleshooting skills, including log analysis (Papertrail, Grafana).
- Familiar with mobile and web development tools (Chrome/Safari dev tools, Android Studio, Xcode).
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in an agile environment.
- Experience with cloud-based device testing (BrowserStack, AWS Device Farm).
- Must be able to work in the office in our Belgrade office as needed for testing on physical devices.
Nice to Have:
- Knowledge of fraud prevention and digital identity verification trends.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, JavaScript) for custom test scenarios or enhancing automated tests.
- Familiarity with SQL for querying databases, validating data integrity, and troubleshooting issues related to data storage and retrieval.
- Experience with SDK and integration testing.
- Familiarity with performance or security testing.
