    Job Description

    We are looking for an experienced QA Automation Manager to join our QA Business Unit’s Management Team and lead the design, development, and implementation of automated testing frameworks and processes within the QA Business Unit.

    The QA Automation Manager reports to Head of QA and specializes in driving AI-powered and traditional automation testing strategies within the gaming industry. This role requires expertise in leveraging cutting-edge AI technologies, automation tools, and industry-standard testing frameworks to ensure the efficiency, scalability, and reliability of testing processes. The ideal candidate is familiar with various game engines, game automation testing frameworks (AI and non-AI powered), and is passionate about delivering high-quality gaming experiences.


    Responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement advanced automation strategies using AI-powered and traditional testing tools tailored for game development.
    • Leverage machine learning models to enhance test coverage, predict failure points, and optimize test execution.
    • Stay updated on the latest industry standards, tools, and techniques for game testing, incorporating them into the department’s practices.
    • Utilize in-depth knowledge of game engines (e.g., Unreal Engine, Unity or/and proprietary engines) to design effective test automation strategies.
    • Work with game automation testing frameworks and tools, whether AI-based or non-AI, to create robust testing solutions for complex gaming systems.
    • Oversee the integration of automation solutions into CI/CD pipelines for seamless testing and deployment.
    • Analyze and report on test coverage, results, and areas of improvement, providing actionable insights to stakeholders.
    • Lead and mentor a team of automation engineers, fostering innovation and technical expertise in AI-driven and traditional game testing practices.
    • Collaborate with developers, QA teams, and designers to ensure testing solutions are aligned with game design goals and timelines.
    • Research and implement emerging AI and automation technologies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of game testing.
    • Identify gaps in current testing workflows and drive initiatives for continuous optimization.

    Qualifications

    • Strong understanding of AI applications in automation testing and game development.
    • Proficiency in automation tools, frameworks, and programming languages
    • Hands-on experience with game engines like Unity, Unreal Engine, or proprietary systems.
    • Familiarity with popular game testing tools and frameworks
    • Exceptional leadership, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
    • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to align cross-functional teams.
