About this Position
QA Automation Intern will assist in developing and executing automated test scripts to ensure the quality and functionality of the software applications. Responsibilities include participating in test planning, creating test cases and identifying and reporting defects. Performs debugging and root cause analysis of product issues and defects.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
- Collaborate with the QA Lead/Architect in developing and maintaining QA Automation scripts.
- Create automated tests to cover every applicable layer- UI(cross-browser/device), API (BFF, System, Process), Database etc.
- Set up Jenkins automated scheduled jobs and integrations to record test results.
- Maintains a healthy QA automation repositories by using branches, resolving conflicts and creating pull requests.
- Log defects clearly and support with relevant evidence to aid a quick triage and resolution of defects. Maintains the Test environment with timely code promotes using CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate with QA Leads to develop effective automation test plans and test strategies. Collaborate with BA/PO & QA Leads to review test coverage and priorities.
- Reviews and analyzes the business and system specifications and assess risks using established KRIs.
- Performs test prioritization in regression phase to manage risks and manage costs and efforts.
- Collaborate with product owners, engineers and other team members to help refine scope and define acceptance criteria.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Pursuing Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
