The role: QA and Reliability Engineer

We are looking for QA and Reliability Engineers to join our Data Products group, which produces and delivers cutting-edge sports data driving team success and innovative fan experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Develop tests and testing infrastructure; ensure adequate test coverage of our software systems and products
  • Improve observability by building and maintaining dashboards showing logs, metrics, and alerts 
  • Help with release processes, including reviewing release notes, testing, and troubleshooting issues that arise 
  • Work with product stakeholders to resolve customer questions and issues in a timely manner
  • Identify repeat issues and update support playbooks to improve efficiency of future issue resolution 
  • Track and communicate quality metrics; improve the quality of our products by identifying areas for improvement 

Requirements

  • Programming experience in Typescript, Python, Rust or C++
  • Team-first and product-oriented mindset
  • Flexibility and availability for work on call, outside of regular work hours, as needed to support live sports 

Nice to haves

  • Experience with Grafana, Prometheus, Docker, Kubernetes, CI, AWS, databases
  • Experience in software or data QA
