Job Description
CD PROJEKT RED is looking for a QA Analyst to join our team in Boston and work on Project Sirius, an upcoming game set in The Witcher universe. In this role, the QA Analyst will focus on ensuring the highest quality standards are met by analyzing, identifying, and reporting issues in the game. This person will collaborate closely with developers, strike teams, and the broader QA team to understand incoming work, create and run test plans, and communicate their learnings with the overall team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop test plans and strategies, write and maintain test cases and checklists
- Ensure effective QA documentation and knowledge sharing by creating, maintaining and organizing test documentation
- Collaborate closely with strike teams to gather information for developing test plans around key game features and incoming work
- Conduct comprehensive testing of the game to identify and report bugs, track their resolution and verify fixes
- Test and assess the game's performance and stability on different platforms to ensure smooth gameplay and proper functionality
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience working in a similar position
- Experience in creating and verifying detailed test checklists
- Experience in documenting testing processes and bugs using bug-tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail)
- Excellent understanding of the development process working internally in a game studio setting
- Ability to identify and report bugs
- Ability to collaborate with developers and provide constructive feedback on the game and overall player experience
- Familiar with utilizing game engines (Unreal Engine, Unity) for testing
- Ability to think analytically, solve problems efficiently and approach work in a structured, systematic manner
- Strong attention to detail and precision in work
- Team player with strong communication skills
- Passion for video games

- Basic knowledge of automation tools or scripting for QA automation
