Job Description
- Strategic Procurement:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize operational expenses (OPEX) and capital expenses (CAPEX).
- Ensure alignment with organizational goals and compliance with OP budgetary guidelines.
- Vendor Management:
- Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to ensure the best terms for quality, delivery, and cost.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors to secure long-term partnerships.
- Contract Management:
- Draft, review, and finalize procurement contracts, ensuring they comply with legal and company standards.
- Monitor contract performance and resolve any disputes promptly.
- Audit Preparation & Compliance:
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors to prepare necessary documentation as per norms
- Ensure all procurement activities adhere to company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Management Information Systems (MIS):
- Develop and manage procurement-related MIS to track key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Provide data-driven insights and reports for decision-making on monthly basis.
- Presentation & Reporting:
- Prepare procurement performance updates, budget adherence, and cost-saving initiatives.
- Communicate complex data in a clear, concise manner for stakeholders.
- Operational Efficiency:
- Continuously identify and implement process improvements to enhance procurement efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional technical teams to ensure smooth supply chain operations through whole year.
- Risk Management:
- Proactively identify potential risks in the supply chain and develop mitigation strategies.
- Monitor market trends and adjust procurement plans accordingly.
- Support and development of vendors for sustainability projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s in engineering / science / supply chain management, Business Administration, or related field.
Additional Information
- 5-8 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the pharma or packaging industry or FMCG factors.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- Proficiency in procurement software of SAP and MIS tools.
- Knowledge of audit preparation and compliance standards.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Expert in MS office -PPT , Xls and Word preparation.
- Import sourcing – Freight Forwarding and Custom Clearnce ( Air/ Sea )
- Knowledge of local taxation and EPCG license .
