THE OPPORTUNITY

CONTEXT: 

Our IT department, international in scope (EMEA, AMER, APAC) and in full growth, is made up of around fifty experts in charge of the deployment and operation of the Ivalua Cloud which hosts the environments for our clients around the world.  It is also responsible for internal IT infrastructures, IT applications and data, as well as IT support for our users. In this context of growth, we are looking for a Senior IT Manager to strengthen our team in Pune.

ROLE:

Key role to build a comprehensive IT center in India working for our global organization. In charge of recruitment and making close HR management with the local staff who will report functionally to each global team (Infra, IT support, Client Ops).
 

WHAT YOU WILL DO WITH US

  • Direct management of all Pune IT teams’ staff 
  • Working with TA team to recruit IT Talents in Pune
  • Knowledge Management: Develop & maintain the documentation, implement and maintain policies, procedures, manage team trainings & skills compliance
  • Point of contact of IT team leads (Infra, IT Support, Client-Ops, SOC, etc.) and making sure the Pune IT staff is meeting the team leads expectations
  • Follow-up Pune team efficiency & develop excellence (operations, project management, communication, etc.)

YOUR PROFILE

  • If you have the below experience and strengths this role could be for you:

Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum 10 years managing 10/15 IT team in India, solid track record in recruiting IT talents and leading offshore teams in global IT organization context   
  • Mastery in process definition, SLA reporting, ITIL
  • Proficiency in Infrastructure management, datacenter service, IT support service, monitoring & supervision, asset management, ticketing tool
  • Basic knowledge of Security, Cloud management
  • BE/BTech or master’s degree in computer engineering, Computer science, or a closely related field or foreign equivalent. Procurement domain will be an added advantage.

Soft Skills:

  • ITIL & project management certification is a plus
  • Stress handling, leadership, team player, good communication, problem solving aptitude, strong reporting skills
