Position Description:

We are looking for a dynamic and driven Account Executive to join Sayari’s growing EMEA government sales team, focusing on public sector agencies in Italy. This position will play a key role in driving new business growth through business development, attending industry events, and supporting the regional sales lead. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new opportunities, managing relationships with key stakeholders, and contributing to the expansion of Sayari’s presence within the Italian public sector.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Driving new business development efforts, including proactive outreach, networking, and lead generation within the Italian public sector
  • Attending industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to engage potential customers and build market presence
  • Supporting the regional sales lead in strategic account planning and opportunity development
  • Managing the full sales cycle, from prospecting to contract negotiation and closing
  • Maintaining accurate Salesforce records for your territory and providing reliable sales forecasts
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and customer success, to drive client engagement
  • Staying informed on industry trends, competitor activity, and evolving public sector needs
  • Performing other related duties as assigned

Skills & Experience:

  • 3+ years of sales experience, preferably in risk, compliance, OSINT or enterprise data & analytics
  • Proven ability to develop new business and establish strong client relationships within the Italian public sector
  • Experience in attending industry events, conferences, and networking engagements to drive sales growth
  • Strong track record of achieving and exceeding revenue targets
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a regional sales lead and cross-functional teams
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Fluency in Italian and English required
  • Ability to travel up to 25% within Italy and Europe as needed
