The Public Relations Specialist reports to the Public Relations Manager and is responsible for core areas of Lucid Motor’s PR and communication plan and activities in the Middle East.
This role coordinates media relations and consumer facing communications, with a focus on driving earned media outcome across the region, reflecting the Marketing organization’s overall goal of increasing brand awareness, and raising Lucid’s profile among consumers and within the automotive and technology industries.
The Role:

  • Play an integral role on the Lucid marketing team with responsibilities for PR and communications 
  • Manage the execution of a regional media plan for Lucid’s brand and products, targeting media and influencers in the business, automotive, technology, lifestyle, and other key media sectors, with clear KPIs and pathways to achieve success
  • Support the development of executive thought leadership program, with a specific focus on speakerships and Tier 1 industry and media events in the Middle East. Leverage and expand Lucid’s speaker bench to provide a breadth of levels across key areas of expertise related to the automotive, tech, engineering, software and manufacturing industries. 
  • Support the regional product reviews program, including product messaging and media relations, as well as management of the regional Lucid Air press fleet for review, industry events, and other activities
  • Support the regional activities related to Lucid Studios (showrooms), including, but not limited to: Studio openings, pop-up locations, regional product launches and events, regional product reviews, and regional media and influencer relations
  • Develop supporting internal- and external-facing written materials, including press releases, messaging, and more
  • Build and maintain regional press and influencer lists; form relationships with individual reporters and influencers to support story development 
  • Maintain clear communications across the owned and paid media functions of the Lucid Marketing organization to ensure integrated campaigns and activities
  • Maintain media guidelines and best practices, specific to Lucid properties


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher
  • 3 to 5 year’s experience in a PR role with a leading brand, preferably within automotive 
  • Proven track record of leading media relationship programs in multiple markets and achieving success across the Middle East
  • Proficiency with media databases, resources, and third-party marketing software
  • Passion for a fast-paced, high growth environment
  • Self-starter and quick thinker who thrives in ambiguous and rapidly changing situations
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills and the ability to relentlessly prioritize
  • A passion for, and working knowledge of, automobiles, EVs, and the future of mobility
  • Experience in the consumer electronics, luxury, or lifestyle industries a plus
  • Proficiency in writing Arabic and English
