We are looking for a Proposal Manager with a can do mindset!
Within Life cycle engineering (LCE) & Asset upgrade we are convinced that it is very important that the Senior Designer Estimator is engaged throughout the entire flow, starting at lead generation up to after sales. The power of LCE is to use all the knowledge and craftsmanship already available in the Royal IHC group. Using legacy data and with the help of knowledge holders you generate solutions and provide these to our (internal) customers. Your engagement starts by joining and supporting the sales colleagues during the lead generation process. This will also mean that you will be traveling abroad for ship inspections or customer meetings. When bidding for conversion and renovation projects you will be responsible for generating the modification scope and the cost estimation of the EPCI project. For all the orders that we win, you will help the project team with the interpretation of the agreed scope and with the client and help the project manager with defining change orders. At the end of the order you will be involved in the lessons learned session which we can implement in your next quotation.
As a Proposal Manager, you will be responsible for the following:
-
Help clients to define their requests.
-
Create concepts to solve the challenges of our clients.
-
Orchestrate the process from tender qualification to a clear scope of supply and cost estimation.
-
Internal stakeholder management to get information available to support your proposal.
To be eligible for the position of Proposal Manager, you must have the following:
-
You must live in the Netherlands.
-
Education in Mechanical Engineering or Naval Architecture.
-
Work experience with Asset upgrade within the maritime or Offshore industry.
-
Experience with CAD software and willing to learn complex technical systems available onboard vessels.
-
Excellent communication skills in English language (and preferably but not necessarily in Dutch).
-
Please note that only candidates with valid EU work visa will be considered as viable candidates.
* These requirements give a direction to the profile we are looking. At Royal IHC, we warmly welcome anyone to join us, regardless of their background, disabilities or challenges. For example: research shows that male candidates apply if there is a 60% match and women only when there is a 100% match. Do you not meet all the requirements but do you think that this is the position for you? Then we would like to invite you to apply.
Our offer:
