JOB SUMMARY
The Proposal Manager is responsible for managing the end-to-end process of proposal development, ensuring high-quality submissions that align with our strategic objectives.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the preparation, coordination, and submission of proposals.
- Determine prices for company’s services and products
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to gather necessary information, write, edit, and format proposal content.
- Ensure proposals meet all funding agency requirements and are submitted on time.
- Coordinate and lead proposal development meetings, assigning tasks and ensuring accountability among team members.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal teams and external partners regarding proposal activities.
- Mentor associate proposal managers and provide guidance on best practices in proposal development.
- Review and refine proposals to ensure clarity, coherence, and technical accuracy.
- Maintain comprehensive records of all proposal activities, submissions, and feedback.
- Track and report on proposal outcomes and success rates (win/loss analysis).
- Prepare regular updates and reports for senior management on proposal status and performance metrics.

QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
- Master’s degree in Biotech, Molecular Biology, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related fields.
- Understanding of drug development and have 3-5 years’ relevant work experience, preferably from a Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO).
- Project management capabilities to drive semi-complex proposals processes in cross functional teams with the understanding of internal/external customer’s needs and priorities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Eagerness to learn and develop new skills in proposal management.
- A good understanding of the biotechnology industry and scientific terminology.
Preferred:
- Experience with Salesforce CRM is preferred.

$94,000 - $129,250
