Andworx is seeking an energetic hands-on Proposal & Pipeline Manager to join our fast-growing company, which is focused on digital transformation for Federal Government customers. This full-time position blends proposal management and opportunity pipeline support, requiring a candidate who thrives in a fast-paced environment and excels at managing proposals while also supporting pipeline-related efforts. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented person that has a strong understanding of federal contracting practices and likes to be involved in a variety of growth-related activities. As a Proposal & Pipeline Manager, you will lead full-cycle proposal development, ensuring compliance and quality from kickoff to submission. You will review and analyze federal RFPs, RFQs, Sources Sought, and RFIs to identify requirements and collaborate with Andworx leadership to develop winning strategies. You will also search and compile relevant materials from internal resources to streamline content creation, develop compliance matrices, and conduct in-depth reviews to ensure all submissions meet agency requirements.
Note: Candidates must be within a commutable distance to our Falls Church, VA office to join the team on-site as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Proposal Management:
- Lead full-cycle proposal development, from kick-off to submission ensuring compliance and quality.
- Review and analyze federal government RFPs, RFQs, SSNs, and RFIs to capture key information and develop compliant outlines and templates.
- Manage proposal startup activities, including kick-off meetings and timeline creation.
- Compile relevant materials from internal resources to streamline content creation for authors.
- Develop compliance matrices and coordinate color reviews to ensure agency requirements are met.
- Contribute as a writer on proposals and collaborate with Andworx leadership, SMEs, and stakeholders throughout the process to be a part of the proposal development team.
- Develop, maintain, and update our proposal building blocks, past performance library, and graphics repository.
Pipeline Management:
- Work closely with the Andworx Growth Team to track, manage, and evaluate active opportunities across GWACs and public sector platforms like SAM.gov.
- Maintain and update pipeline opportunities in the Andworx CRM tool and facilitate pipeline review meeting.
- Execute capture strategies by leading pre-RFP activities and responding to RFIs.
- Analyze market trends and competitor positioning to optimize win strategies.
Success Metrics:
First 30 Days:
- Gain a thorough understanding of the company’s core capabilities, proposal processes, and tools.
- Build relationships with key internal stakeholders, including senior leadership, solution architects, and SMEs.
- Review and familiarize with existing pipeline.
- Successfully support at least one proposal effort, contributing to compliance checks, desktop publishing, and/or section writing.
- Participate in pipeline meetings and strategy sessions to understand the company’s capture goals.
First 60 Days:
- Independently manage at least one proposal from kickoff to submission.
- Lead the response for at least one RFI or task order proposal.
- Streamline the proposal development process by introducing improvements to compliance checks and formatting standards.
- Take ownership of maintaining the proposal content library and ensure it’s updated with recent past performances and templates.
- Begin contributing to capture strategies by identifying potential opportunities and leading discussions on pre-RFP positioning.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in proposal management within government contracting.
- Deep understanding of the Shipley proposal process and federal acquisition lifecycle.
- Advanced proficiency in desktop publishing with Microsoft Word, including ability to format headings, sections, and Styles.
- Strong PowerPoint and the broader Microsoft Office Suite skill set.
- Strong background in developing compliance matrices and managing proposal logistics.
- Experience with GWAC pipelines and platforms like SAM.gov and GSA eBuy.
- Familiarity with federal government contract vehicles and IDIQs.
- Familiarity with federal government opportunity pipeline process.
- Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with reviewing and/or creating content for management, technical, and past performance responses.
Preferred:
- Experience managing winning bids for GWACs and Agency IDIQs.
- Experience maintaining content libraries and graphics repositories.
- Experience developing winning bid strategies.
- Knowledge of CRM tools for pipeline management.
