Summary:

The Project Manager position is responsible for the coordination and completion of company projects on time, within budget and scope. The successful candidate for this role will oversee all aspects of projects including requirements gathering, planning, risk assessments, budgets and progress reporting. They will report to the PMO.

Responsibilities:

  • Project Management:
    • Manage project teams of all sizes and backgrounds
    • Oversee all incoming and outgoing project documentation
  • Support stakeholders in generation of business cases / project proposals
  • Conduct project planning sessions
  • Facilitate the creation of detailed business requirements
  • Assess & mitigate project risks
  • Generate detailed project plans
  • Track project work using standard suite of tools
  • Monitor project progress, adapting to changes as needed
  • Conduct periodic project health evaluations and create detailed reports for executive staff
  • Tailor project management tactics to be suitable for the team and required effort
  • Vendor and Relationship Management:
    • Guide project-related contracts through legal review, negotiation, and signing
    • Manage relationships with clients, stakeholders, vendors, etc.
    • Coordinate internal and external project resources



An ideal candidate will:

  • Have at least five (5) years project management experience
  • Possess a minimum of two (2) years of experience in one of the following areas: Content Management/Development,
    Human Resources, Operations, or Information Technology (IT)
  • Be proactive and self-directed; able to work autonomously and take initiative
  • Be capable of managing a minimum of four (4) concurrent projects
  • Have exceptional attention to detail and high level of discretion
  • Balance the need for details with the inherent ambiguity that projects have
  • Take a creative approach to problem solving
  • Transform groups of people into bonded teams seeking common outcomes
  • Be comfortable navigating conflicts
  • Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Act with good intent at all times



Additionally, it would be great if you have:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or PRINCE II certification
  • Experience with the following tools: Smartsheet, GSuite, Jira, Confluence, Slack
