PURPOSE:
Provides administrative and operational support to the functional area. Supports the planning, design and implementation of projects. Gathers requirements from process partners to ensure an understanding of the business needs in an international environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Performs and coordinates administrative tasks related to the daily business activities including document creation, LOP steering,
- Supports system data entry for various processes such as procurement, finance, and communications.
- Directs steering of meetings, workshop preparation, creation of agendas and minutes, and slide generation.
- Assists in the coordination of small-medium sized projects.
- Oversees project deliverables and milestones, reports and communicates the status to stakeholders as delegated by the supervisor.
- Measures and evaluates project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques.
- Steers service request fulfillment for operational projects, and coordinates non-standard requests.
- Prepares communications and makes presentations on requirements, enhancements, and or alternatives.
- Performs other duties as assigned by Operations Supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- BA/BS degree or the equivalent of four years experience working in a large organization.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- 3+ years of experience managing small to medium-sized projects in a corporate environment.
- 3+ years of experience working in a large organization.
- 3+ years of experience in an administrative position.
- 3+ years of experience driving projects from concept and ideation through successful implementation.
- 3+ year of experience communicating ideas in both technical and user-friendly terminology.
- 3+ years of experience working in an international environment (preferred).
- 3+ years of experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment (preferred).
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Work is normally performed in an office, laboratory, manufacturing floor, or machine shop setting where physical work includes, but is not limited to, sitting, standing, reaching, kneeling, bending, and lifting up to 25 lbs.
- Must be able to understand and comply with all relevant safety practices.
