About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking an individual with an end-to-end experience in project management - determine and define project scope, deliverables, plan/milestone, budget, and RACI to deliver the objectives. This is a 6-month contract role.
The individual is expected to lead project working group and steering committee, developing, maintain RAID log and status reporting. Possess strong Senior Stakeholder management skills and build trusted relationship with stakeholders in FO, COO, Legal/Compliance, Technology and Line of Business. Attention to detail and a control mindset to further strengthen the risk and control environment we operate within.
In this role, you will:
- Lead or participate in moderately complex derivatives products within Capital Markets Middle Office
- Contribute to large scale planning related to profit and loss generation, attribution and trades
- Review, analyze and resolve moderately complex trade issues that require in-depth evaluation
- Resolve moderately complex trade issues
- Lead team to meet functional area and process deliverables
- Deliver solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures and compliance requirements
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
- Lead projects and assist senior managers with industry related initiatives
- Serve as a mentor for less experienced analysts
Required Qualifications:
- 4+ years of Capital Markets industry experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- Experience working in project/change management (preferably in Operations)
- Strong understanding and experience of both SDLC and Agile methodologies
