ABOUT THIS POSITION
The Project Manager is responsible for planning, overseeing, and documenting all aspects of a specific Application Engineering project that has cross-team dependencies. Project Managers may work closely with upper management to make sure that the scope and direction of each project is on schedule, as well as other departments for support.
WHAT YOU'LL DO

Responsible for the overall coordination, status reporting, and stability of project-oriented work efforts

Creates and executes project work plans & timelines, and revises them as appropriate to meet the changing needs and requirements

Manages the day-to-day operational aspects of a project and the scope

Participates in project scoping with the cross-functional teams

Effectively communicates relevant project information to cross-enterprise teams and leaders
-
Routes work between all responsible team members in all stages of planning, development, and implementation

Conveys project changes and updates the appropriate team members
-
Facilitates team and client meetings to review work and understand the status
-
Prepares regular status reports and distributes internally and externally if needed

Resolves and/or escalates issues in a timely fashion

Monitors scope creep and re-scopes projects if necessary

Additional duties as assigned
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
-
Experience as a Project Manager, leading Technology projects covering multiple functional units
-
Software development experience or a strong understanding of development
-
Must be an analytical yet strategic thinker
-
Outstanding presentation abilities and the ability to communicate at all levels of the Business

Proven leadership experience
-
Ability to build a trusting environment with project teams
-
Good skills and knowledge of relationship-focused leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency

Working knowledge of business matters, finance, planning, & forecasting in order to manage program and business issues
-
Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent work experience

Must be able and willing to travel on a periodic basis
Preferred Skills:
-
2+ years’ experience is preferred

An advanced degree is preferred
-
Experience working for a Healthcare Technology company

Scrum Master Certification
-
PMP Certification
-
Awareness and experience with PMI methodologies

Experience in playing the Project Manager role for at least one year for a software development team that was diligently applying Project Manager principles, practices, and theory
