This role has been designed as ‘Hybrid’ with an expectation that you will work on average 2 days per week from an HPE office.

Job Description:
Leads internal project to ensure that it meets all scope, time, budget and quality expectations, through planning, controlling and managing. Manages corporate and third party vendor efforts to plan, build and implement solutions to internal problems and issues. Applies advanced subject matter knowledge to solve complex business issues and is regarded as a subject matter expert. Frequently contributes to the development of new ideas and methods. Works on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of multiple factors. Leads and/or provides expertise to functional project teams and may participate in cross-functional initiatives. Acts as an expert providing direction and guidance to process improvements and establishing policies. Frequently represents the organization to external customers/clients. Exercises significant independent judgment to determine best method for accomplishing work and achieving objectives. May provide mentoring and guidance to lower-level employees.
How you will make your mark:
1. Manages internal projects

Leads the end-to-end management of high-priority projects, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.

Translates high-level sponsor concepts into detailed, actionable project plans, ensuring thorough risk assessment and mitigation strategies are in place.
2. Manages project financials or business impact

Provides accurate and reliable financial forecasts to senior management, ensuring transparency and fiscal responsibility.

Analyzes financial data to measure business impact and project return on investment (ROI), optimizing financial performance.
3. Manages stakeholder relationships
-
Cultivates and sustains robust relationships with high-level stakeholders, facilitating effective communication and project buy-in.

Acts as the primary liaison between project teams and executive sponsors, ensuring stakeholder expectations are met or exceeded.

Navigates complex stakeholder environments to drive consensus and ensure project alignment with business goals.
4. Manages project team

Directs and coordinates internal and external resources, leading project teams typically exceeding 20 members across multiple countries.

Fosters a culture of continuous learning and professional development, mentoring team members to enhance their skills and career growth.

Conducts comprehensive performance evaluations, providing actionable feedback and development recommendations to optimize team performance.
5. Quality Assurance and Process Improvement:

Ensures project deliverables meet the highest quality standards by implementing rigorous quality control processes.

Conducts regular project reviews and retrospectives to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices.

Develops and enforces project management methodologies and standards, promoting consistency and excellence across all projects.

Leads process improvement initiatives to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness, leveraging lessons learned and industry trends.
About you:

First Level University degree.
-
7+ years in project management roles or in like roles/businesses.

Demonstrates a profound understanding of key operational policies, processes, and methodologies essential to effective project management.

Proficient in industry-standard project management frameworks and methodologies, such as Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall.

Skilled in using advanced project management software and tools such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Monday.com for tracking and reporting.
-
Expertise in identifying, analyzing, and mitigating project risks to ensure successful project outcomes.
-
Develops and implements comprehensive risk management plans, including contingency planning and proactive risk mitigation strategies.

Possesses PMP certification

Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities, capable of translating high-level concepts into actionable project plans.

Understanding of project financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.

Skilled in cost-benefit analysis, ROI calculations, and financial risk assessment to ensure project financial viability.
