We are looking for a Project Manager to strengthen our Meetings team in Denmark with location in our office in Copenhagen.

What you will be doing:

• Responsible for the entire project from start to finish. Need analysis, research, sourcing, contracting, additional reservations, coordination of details, reconciliation and follow up.
• Effectively planning and management of client projects and delivering outstanding service to their specification.
• In the most efficient way deliver an excellent product with both quality and creativity, following AMEX GBT Meetings & Events standard and reach targets set up by company.
• Maintain and grow the relationship with local key stakeholders through an advisory role.
• Working with suppliers to secure savings and add value, maximize all commercial opportunities for AMEX GBT Meetings & Events.
• Accurate data input of clients’ requirements keeping each enquiry up to date with any amendments.
• Achieve targeted financial results showing significant savings on client meeting spend.
• Additional sales to relevant clients and relationship work on clients.

Experience and qualifications

• Minimum 3 years documented experience from the Meetings and Event industry as Project Manager.
• Proven ability to drive proactive sales to retain and develop customers.
• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize responsibilities, meet client deadlines and turnaround high volumes of requests in peak period.
• Experience from negotiations regarding pricing, legal terms & conditions with suppliers and customers.
• Strong financial acumen; creating meeting budgets and reconciliations.
• Experience reading and understanding legal terms and conditions from suppliers and customers.
• Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills in creating and selling meetings to clients in Danish and business English.

• Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and confidentiality.
