Position Overview:

The Project Manager is a detail-oriented, customer-focused professional with strong administrative skills who manages the business approval process. This role involves facilitating requests, ensuring clear communication with stakeholders, and overseeing the timely processing of approvals while addressing a backlog of requests.
Duties:

  • Working directly with customers in our agencies to gather and document business requirements needed to comply with established policy and procedures within the organization.
  • Gathering, preparing, and submitting information and documentation to the various security, legal and administrative approvers required in the process.
  • Meeting with a diverse group of stakeholders, to include legal, business, and security teams, to help ensure timely processing and approval of business requests.
  • Reviewing, interpreting, and providing input on contract agreements and other business-related contractual documents.
  • Collaborating with vendors ensuring clear communication of requirements and cloud use documentation where required.
  • Researching whether there is already a current solution in use that would meet the documented business needs.
  • Providing general guidance to our customers on the business approval process and its underlying policies and processes.
  • Overall tracking and managing of the backlog of requests.
  • Facilitating any requests for additional information that may arise during the approval process.
  • Serving as an overall point of contact and subject matter expert for staff.

Required Skills:

  • 2 years of experience managing projects, program management, or process administration
  • 3 years of experience in a customer-facing role
  • Experience in vendor management
