Job Summary
A project manager (PM) is responsible for overseeing the successful completion of projects within a defined scope, timeline, and budget. Their role involves planning, coordinating, executing, and monitoring various aspects of the project, including resources, schedules, budgets, and risks. The PM works closely with stakeholders, team members, and clients to ensure alignment with project goals and objectives.
Responsibilities & Duties
• Tracking and management of each key milestone and plan updates, Schedule management.
• Issue and Risk and Dependency Management.
• Maintain support for quality assurance activities that align to quality expectation.
• Change management.
• Vendor management.
• Stakeholder management, project communication, and training,Financial management.
• Administration of progress reports and timesheets.
• Post implementation support upon system Go-Live.
• Assist in other project management related activities as and when assigned by Program Director.
Qualifications & Skills
• Minimum of >5 years project management experience covering full project life cycle.
• Project management experience of complex system implementation projects in banking institutions with strong technical skills and a solid understanding of software development.
• Business and commercial acumen, with minimum 5 years as an Analyst prior to this, covering the full project life cycle and having excellent stakeholder management skills.
• Analytical skills are necessary to correctly identify risks and solve any problems which may arise throughout the project.
