Job Description

  • Lead pre-sales projects and software implementations for small to large scale customers meeting timelines and budget requirements
  • Lead internal projects across all departments as needed
  • Create project plans involving resources, time estimates, costs, and documentation

Technical Skills

  • Expert knowledge in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, OneNote, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Thorough understanding of MS Teams and ability to setup and collaborate with both internal and external customers sometimes on the same team site
  • Deep expertise in MS Project with the ability to create complex project plans from scratch and manage them through the lifecycle of the project

Preferred Work Experience for the Ideal Candidate

  • 5+ years in automotive related project/program management
  • 8+ years in managing and implementing enterprise automotive software development projects in a multi-region global environment
  • Manage customer interaction and expectations through the length of the project and contract scope
  • Experience in customer facing roles and external executive facing experience
  • Experience leading multinational teams
  • Ability to work early mornings and late evenings to accommodate global meetings with customers
  • Able to manage multiple complex projects with competing milestone dates and other deliverables
  • Must be able to track project issues across multiple projects and be able to utilize critical path methodology by analyzing task dependencies and durations

Educational Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information technology or engineering or equivalent
  • PMP certification is desired
