- Manage the implementation of information systems to meet identified business needs, acquiring and utilizing the necessary resources and skills, within agreed parameters of cost, timescales, and quality.
- Estimate and monitor costs, timescales and resource requirements for the successful completion of each project to agreed terms of reference.
- Manage the change control procedure gaining agreement for revisions to the project from project sponsors.
- Guide the team in charge of project activities and review their deliverables.
- Provide effective leadership for the project team ensuring that team members are motivated and constantly developing their skills and experience.
- Follow the Project Management Methodology (PM2 ).
- Participate in functional working groups and progress meetings.
- Interact closely with the Business Manager involved in the project via recurrent meetings.
What will you be bringing to the team?
- 5 years of higher education, Master or equivalent, and 13 years of professional experience after studies.
- Excellent knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g. Prince, PMI, EC PM2).
- Experience with project management tools e.g. MS Project.
- Good technical knowledge on project strategies, planning, definition of tasks and deliverables, quality control, risk analysis and management, status reports, problem reporting and management systems, follow up and organization.
- Practical knowledge of reporting methods.
- Previous experience of managing a team and leadership capability.
- Ability in drafting reports for the executive management.
- Good knowledge of Portfolio Management processes.
- Experience with relational databases.
- Ability in developing project management supporting tools.
- Ability to give presentations.
- Capability of working in an international/multicultural environment, rapid self-starting capability and experience in working in a team, understanding the needs, objectives and constraints of those in other disciplines and functions.
- Level of English (B2 or higher) is mandatory
