The goal of the Senior Project Manager role is to oversee and coordinate all aspects of the project, ensuring that it is completed on time, within budget, and meets the defined objectives. This includes planning project activities, facilitating stakeholder communication, and mitigating risks. The Project Manager ensures alignment across teams, focuses on project goals, and adapts plans as needed to address any issues that arise, ultimately aiming to deliver a successful outcome that meets the client's or organization's needs. The position required strict cooperation with the Engineering Manager and Product Manager.
Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Execution

Develop and implement project plans, including scope and budget

Understand the project domain and dependencies

Cooperate with Project Owner, Engineering Manager and Lead Engineer for a successful delivery. As the Project Owner is accountable for setting up the priorities and feature planning, the Project Manager is responsible for keeping the plans within the budget
Documentation and Reporting:

Manage project documentation, including project plans, release schedules, and risk registers

Managing the documentation required for the release process: making sure that the engineering team created the implementation plans; generations Snyk and automation tests reports, release and production readiness review documents (if needed)

Accountability for the uploading the Diamond Charts to the Clarity

Create RACI matrix for the project to clarify the dependencies, milestones, responsibilities and decisions to be taken
Dependencies
-
Conduct a thorough analysis to identify the external dependencies for the project.

Document dependencies in a centralized location, such as a dependency log or matrix, to ensure visibility and tracking

Assess the impact of dependencies on project timelines and deliverables

Prioritize dependencies based on their criticality to project success and the level of risk associated with them

Monitor with the external team the progress of dependent tasks or deliverables to ensure they are on track and address any delays or issues promptly
Risk management:

Identifies the feature risks and creates mitigation plans

Assign ownership for each identified risk and define specific actions, timelines, and responsibilities for risk response and monitoring
Communication

Escalate the risk and challenges, when needed, with the leadership
Administration

Set up and lead the team ceremonies such as daily meeting and retro

Clarity management

Attend the PMO status meetings

Ensure accurate timesheet approval

Requirements:

4+ years of IT Project Management experience

Experience with software development life cycles (SDLC)

Proficiency in project management tools (Jira) and methodologies like Agile and Scrum

Ability to create and implement frameworks and processes that drive innovation and efficiency

Stakeholder management skills to align project outcomes with business goals
-
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate collaboration across technical teams

Strong financial management skills
-
Ability to identify, analyze, and mitigate the risks to keep the project on track

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field
-
Ability to work a flexible schedule based on department and company needs as business & customers are based in the U.S.
