The Project Manager will be responsible for managing projects in Risk and Compliance teams for Business, HealthCare, Security & Privacy to drive compliance initiatives across the entire organisation.
- Managing projects:
- Manage project scope, including identification of key activities linked to compliance requirements
- Manage the project timeline and project costs/resources
- Manage project risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies
- Adhere to agreed project governance, steering, and change control processes
- Build and maintain the project plan
- Develop RACI (Responsible, Accountable, Consulted, Informed) matrix for each project
- Maintain the project document/material/record collection/library
- Produce regular project reports and management updates
- Maintain project schedules and plans, and track project tasks using standard InterSystems tools (MS Project, MS Office, Atlassian JIRA and Confluence)
- Link projects to organisational compliance activities
- Schedule and lead lessons learned activities
- General strategies for compliance project management:
- Develop and monitor project KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) to track and trend project status and risk.
- Participate in compliance improvement projects to ensure the consistent development and implementation of interdepartmental and cross-functional team projects
- Apply standard InterSystems project and change management principles to project planning and project management
- Participate in the management and maintenance of a strong change control process throughout the duration of projects
- Participate in strategic planning sessions to facilitate production of strategic plan deliverables
Demonstrate thorough skills and abilities the provision of support to the Security & Privacy, Compliance and Clinical Safety teams and their objectives:
- Manage the completion of all tasks, including those of any third party partner according to the timeline
- Maintain focus on efficiency while managing the project time and costs/resources
- Provide advice and best practices to project team members
- Work proactively and collaboratively with other team members to achieve team goals and establish a culture of success and learning within the team
- Experience with use and functionality of Microsoft Project and Atlassian Jira
- Experience in healthcare IT or Compliance preferred
- Proven ability to lead and deliver results within project driven timelines
- Good presentation and communication skills across all levels of an organization
- Ability to work within a team in a cross cultural environment
- Available for consultation beyond normal business hours if necessary and willing to travel
- Knowledge and Experience with InterSystems technology is a bonus.

- Required:
- 5+ years of experience, including 2 full project lifecycles
- Bachelors degree or equivalent
- Preferred:
- Project Management qualification
- Management experience overseeing 4+ projects simultaneously
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
