As a Strategic Controlling: Project Manager - Transformation (d/f/m) you will play a pivotal role in Covestro’s global transformation efforts. As part of the Strategic Controlling Team, you will be responsible for overseeing financial tracking within the Transformation Office, ensuring that transformation initiatives are accurately and consistently assessed. This role serves as a central enabler for large-scale organizational change, translating strategic goals into measurable business impacts while enhancing execution excellence, visibility, and financial control.
Key Responsibilities:

Ensure the transformation strategy is translated into tangible business results through rigorous project management and accountability.

Govern financial valuation and impact assessment for all transformation initiatives, ensuring consistent evaluation across the global organization.

Provide executive leadership with critical financial insights to support data-driven decision-making.

Drive the adoption of standardized processes and tools to create scalable transformation approaches.

Facilitate organization-wide adoption of new processes and tools essential for long-term transformation success.

Identify and mitigate potential roadblocks early, ensuring smooth execution of transformation initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience:

Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Business Administration, Controlling or a comparable field.

At least 5+ years of relevant experience in strategic controlling, corporate strategy, strategy consulting, banking or a related field.

Expertise in financial analysis, business modeling and valuation.

Excellent ability to communicate, coach and engage stakeholders at all levels.
-
Fluent in English and German (advanced level).

A results-driven mindset that quickly adapts to change and solves problems effectively.

Ability to handle multiple projects at once in an organized and proactive way.

Strong skills in relevant software (Excel and PowerPoint)
