About the Team
The Diagnostics Direct Procurement department’s vision is to be procurement entrepreneurs, with an ability to design and orchestrate innovative, agile and sustainable supplier networks. The Direct Procurement Team consists of more than 200 people at 10 different locations in the US, Europe and Asia.
In this role, under the umbrella of the company-wide program ASPIRE which strives to implement the new digital backbone for Roche, you will be driving as a project manager the process definition as well as deployment of Procurement solutions within the different process areas like upstream procurement, or requisition to receipt, including master data and reporting.
ASPIRE is an enterprise-wide business transformation program that will harmonise all core end-to-end processes across the Roche enterprise, supported by a simplified IT-landscape with SAP S/4HANA as a core IT system.
The position

You will act as a Project Manager for direct procurement-related processes in solutions like SAP S4/HANA and GEP Nexxe and align our procurement processes with the ASPIRE Ecosystem the so-called Demand-to-Pay template. You will use your insights to propose and implement improvements that add value to Direct Procurement

You will be a key representative for Direct Procurement in workshops and fit-to-template sessions, collaborate closely with Business Process Management and other stakeholders and develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, ensuring continuous communication to provide updates, address questions, and resolve any concerns about ongoing activities. You will be the voice of Diagnostic Direct Procurement within the ASPIRE program, working within an agile framework (SAFe) to influence and innovate

You will monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and take necessary actions to mitigate or escalate issues, ensuring timely and successful delivery of project milestones

You coordinate and support local sites and key stakeholders during critical phases of deployment, including testing, data migration, and training, and inspire and guide deployment team members and partner teams, ensuring seamless collaboration and support

You document your experiences and share best practices, amplifying the success of deployment over time
Who you are

You obtained your university degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field

You have 5 years of experience in the above-mentioned fields (preferably in Project Management, Business Process Management, IT, Procurement). Hands-on business experience in Procurement is a strong advantage

Deep experience in SAP R3 and SAP S4/Hana (mainly SAP MM), other Procurement solutions (GEP Nexxe) is a big plus

You bring international or global/corporate experience working in projects/programs (preferably transformational of nature) involving cross-functional teams

You have a strong E2E business process area understanding and deep process knowledge as well as technical expertise for Direct Procurement. Your good E2E knowledge of the important interfaces is related to processes such as VMI, CMO, Supply Chain, Transportation Management, Warehousing, Commercials, etc.

You convince with your agile mindset (speed, stability, flexibility) and you work according to the agile mindset concept in daily operations

You have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; experience in identifying and leading change initiatives and proven track record of effective decision making
