Job Description

At Checkout.com, we're building the future of online payments. We're a fast-paced, collaborative environment where innovation and ownership are highly valued. As an Operations Project Manager, you will oversee and drive the successful execution of operational projects. This role involves planning, coordinating, and implementing projects to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance overall business operations. The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills, a keen eye for process optimisation, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
 

What you will be doing:
 

  • Lead and manage operational projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business objectives.
  • Manage relationships with key stakeholders across the business focused on Acquiring processes, including: the Operational Excellence teams, Product, Commercial and 2LOD Risk & Compliance teams.
  • Develop project plans and timelines, tracking progress and making necessary adjustments.
  • Monitor project performance using KPIs and metrics, providing regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and best practices.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the organisation.
  • Document project processes, outcomes, and lessons learned for future optimisation.

Qualifications

  •  
  • Several years of experience in leading end-to-end operational projects, including change-management, system implementations, process streamlining and resource management.
  • Financial services / Fin-tech / Payments experience would be beneficial.
  • PMP, Six Sigma, or Lean certification is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work with diverse teams.
  • Proficiency in project management tools.
  • Ability to adapt to changing business needs and priorities.
