At GEA, you will lead international membrane filtration projects that redefine what is possible in the Dairy, food and beverage world - as an example, your calculations might help remove alcohol from beer or extract proteins for tomorrow’s food.
Responsibilities / Tasks
You will be based in Skanderborg Denmark, where you will be part of our Global Center of Competence for Membrane Filtration with colleagues based all over Europe and the US. While spanning R&D, Sales and Project Execution, we collaborate organically to deliver cross-flow membrane filtration systems for the hygienic industries.
As project manager, you will be responsible for executing our projects from order to handover.
You will be owning and driving forward the projects, often managing between 5-10 projects at a time alongside internal and external specialists. A typical day in your new role may involve:
- Project Management of the projects in your portfolio, both internally and with suppliers.
- Developing PID’s, component lists based on your Technical calculations
- Performing support on different already-installed units and sales support
- Project meetings, economics follow up and risk management
You will get to travel 10-20 days a year, mainly in Europe, for customer meetings and potential on site visits.

Your Profile / Qualifications

We imagine that you hold the following qualifications:
- Preferably have a couple of years of experience within project management, hygienic design, liquid processing or similar
- Have a background as a marine engineer, mechanical engineer, process engineer, or similar
- Can read and understand process flow diagrams and have a technical insight
- Are fluent in English and Danish.
