Job Overview:

The LPL Financial Content Strategy and Governance team is looking for a seasoned marketing Project Manager to lead key initiatives on its flagship, advisor-facing platform.

The Project Manager will oversee the daily coordination of Resource Center platform functions, ensuring that page content, assets and metadata are delivered on time and to a high standard of quality. You will develop and implement processes, systems, and tools to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the Marketing team as it seeks to improve a crucial product in LPL’s advisor service stack. In this role, you will work closely with business owners across the firm, facilitating execution with Content Strategy and Governance and other key stakeholders. Additionally, you will help manage and streamline digital processes, manage a wholescale clean-up effort and drive other complex projects from inception to completion.

Responsibilities:

· Manage project dashboard to ensure timelines are met and stakeholders align with project objectives.

· Develop and manage project timelines based on content audit determinations, specifying goals, scheduling tasks/milestones, identifying risks, developing contingency plans, and planning resources.

· Confirm resource availability and allocation within the Marketing team, managing bandwidth effectively.

· Act as a key advocate for process improvements, offering solutions and spearheading the development or refinement of processes to enhance overall Marketing operations.

· Understand and prioritize deadlines, making scheduling recommendations based on current workloads.

· Coordinate and follow up with strategists and editors, functional stakeholders, and Executive Leadership to ensure timely and successful project delivery.

· Produce regular reports, status updates and data dashboards, to keep all stakeholders informed of project status and related issues.

· Ensure all necessary information and details are confirmed when receiving new marketing requests, establishing a clear understanding of the project’s requirements.

· Plan, coordinate, and direct all activities associated with Content Strategy and Governance projects, ensuring appropriate project support

· Maintain project timelines and pivot quickly when prioritization is needed to meet changing demands.

· Solve and/or escalate project impediments with minimal direction, ensuring smooth project execution.

· Schedule meetings with project stakeholders, capturing status updates and next steps.

· Monitor and track project progress through the team’s project management system, adjusting schedules, as necessary.

Requirements:

· 5+ years of experience in project management within marketing operations or content management

· 3+ years of proven leadership skills with the ability to coach teams, manage team motivation and health, deliver feedback, and build strong client relationships

· 3+ years of experience in process improvement, with a track record of successfully implementing initiatives to optimize production deliverables and systems

Preferences:

· Bachelor’s degree

· Agile project management

· Proficiency with project management tools, such as Smartsheet, MS Project, and Adobe Workfront

· Experience in project management within an agency setting

· Strong collaborative skills, working effectively with multiple creative and digital teams.

· Excellent people skills to interact with and lead creatives, colleagues, clients, and cross-functional teams

· Highly detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities

Pay Range:

$76,088-$126,813/year
 
Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
