Job Summary: In this role, you will be based in Karnataka, responsible to lead and oversee utility scale projects from inception to completion. 


Key Responsibilities

  • Project Oversight: Manage the development and execution of renewable energy projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards;
  • Planning and Scheduling:Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and schedules. Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary;
  • Stakeholder Management:Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including clients, vendors, regulatory bodies, and internal teams. Ensure alignment and transparency throughout the project lifecycle;
  • Budget Management:Oversee project budgets, track expenditures, and ensure financial efficiency. Prepare and present financial reports to senior management;
  • Risk Management:Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies. Conduct regular risk assessments and implement corrective actions as needed;
  • Compliance and Quality Assurance:Ensure all projects comply with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices. Implement quality control measures to meet project specifications;
  • Technical Expertise: Provide technical guidance and support on renewable energy technologies, including solar, wind, and other sustainable solutions;
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement best practices and process improvements to enhance project delivery and operational efficiency;
  • Reporting: Prepare and present project status reports, including progress updates, risk assessments, and financial summaries, to senior management and stakeholders. 


Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field;
  • PMP certified with minimum 8 years of experience in project management, with at least 3 years in the renewable energy sector;
  • Proven track record of successfully building and managing large-scale renewable energy projects;
  • Proficiency in project management software, such as Primavera, Microsoft Project or similar tools;
  • In-depth knowledge of renewable energy technologies and industry trends;
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Must be willing to be based at project site in Karnataka;
  • Proficiency in the local languages of Karnataka (Kannada) is essential.
