Job Description

AECOM is looking for dynamic Project Managers to join our vibrant team in delivering major and minor bridge replacement projects across Georgia. As part of our existing program management contract, you'll play a crucial role in managing bridge replacement projects from start to finish, under the guidance of a senior lead and supported by a team of experienced senior program and project managers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the scope, schedule, and budget of bridge replacement projects throughout the entire project lifecycle.
  • Oversee one or more less complex projects, which may involve:
    • Clients with a small or local geographic footprint.
    • Projects with limited services provided by a local IE office.
    • Projects with limited complexities such as litigation, EPA super funding, due diligence, etc.
  • Manage certain phases of projects under the supervision of a senior Project Manager/Program Manager or Regional Manager.
  • Proactively identify potential project problems or opportunities, analyze issues, develop alternatives, and implement optimal solutions.
  • Make sound, well-informed, and objective decisions with a strong understanding of their impact and implications.
  • Manage project resources effectively.
  • Mentor and advise less experienced staff on project management skills.

 

 

Qualifications

Minimum: 

  • BA/BS degree or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.

Preferred:

  • Experience in infrastructure project management
  • GDOT experience 
  • Microsoft Office Suite experience and knowledge
