We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Project Manager GEA Digital to join our team. You will work in close cooperation with GEA Digital Hub management where you will actively shape the further development and future success of GEA Digital. Furthermore, you are involved in the key technological, business, and strategical projects.

The GEA Digital Hub Düsseldorf is dedicated to digitalizing GEA's customer interface, creating new digital products and services, and establishing innovative business models. Working collaboratively with digital units across all divisions, the Hub offers GEA-wide platforms, services, and methods to support these efforts. As a corporate start-up, the GEA Digital Hub operates with an agile & customer-centric approach, driving digital transformation throughout the company.

  • Lead complex digital projects: Plan, coordinate, and execute cross-functional digital projects to implement and enhance GEA Customer Portal, Digital Product Passport, and Digital Twin—based on the vision and requirements defined by our Digital Product Owners.

  • Project planning & execution: Define workstreams, milestones, and deliverables, ensuring efficient implementation within scope, timeline, and budget.

  • Project organization & stakeholder management: Structure sub-projects, manage external partners, and engage stakeholders at all levels.

  • Risk & change management: Monitor progress, identify risks early, and implement mitigation strategies.

  • Reporting & communication: Provide regular status updates to stakeholders, including top management, and present insights and recommendations.

  • Agile methodologies & best practices: Apply Scrum and other project management approaches to foster cross-functional collaboration.

Your Profile / Qualifications

  • Education: Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or Computer Science.

  • Experience: Several years of experience in project management for digital products or platforms, ideally in an industrial environment and B2B business

  • Agile expertise: Hands-on experience with agile methodologies, particularly Scrum, is essential.

  • Communication & leadership skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.

  • Independence & teamwork: Strong ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. High level of social competence, a strong sense of responsibility, and the ability to make well-founded decisions.

  • Problem-solving skills: Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions. Structured thinker with a passion for problem-solving.

  • Language skills: Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken.
