WHAT YOU WILL DO:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and successful delivery of a Data Center (DC) Migration project within the Financial Services sector. This role requires a strong background, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously while maintaining the highest quality standards.
This is a hybrid role and requires occasional travel domestically and internationally to client sites.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Project Planning and Execution
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Oversee the execution of migration activities, ensuring adherence to project schedules and budgets.
Technical Oversight
- Collaborate with technical teams to assess existing infrastructure and design migration strategies.
- Ensure compatibility and performance of migrated systems with organizational requirements.
- Address technical challenges and provide solutions during the migration process.
Team Coordination
- Lead cross-functional teams, including IT, network, and application specialists, to achieve project goals.
- Facilitate communication between internal teams, vendors, and external partners.
Risk and Compliance Management
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation plans to minimize impact on operations.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, security protocols, and regulatory requirements.
Documentation and Reporting
- Maintain detailed project documentation, including run books, change logs, and status reports.
- Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project progress, challenges, and outcomes.
Training & Mentorship
- Train and mentor junior team members, providing measurable growth opportunities.
- Support talent acquisition efforts by identifying and recommending strong candidates for the team.
Global Impact & Continuous Improvement
- Contribute to global process improvement initiatives and documentation.
- Optimize cross-functional workflows and drive efficiencies across regional and global teams.
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Project Management, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in project management delivering DC or networking related projects.
Technical Expertise
- Strong understanding of Cisco and Arista DC products.
- Experience managing complex DC migrations.
- Ability to evaluate and apply emerging technologies to optimize business outcomes.
Project & Stakeholder Management
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills to assess project risks, dependencies, and optimization opportunities.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical requirements into business terms.
Problem-Solving & Adaptability
- Ability to work independently and make informed decisions in high-pressure environments.
- Comfortable operating in ambiguous situations, with the ability to drive clarity and structure.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and process improvement mindset.

Pay Range
$130,000—$150,000 USD
