Role Responsbilities:
- Leading development and maintenance of plans for distribution center transition with key decisions articulated and scheduled, accepting task-level ownership for all relevant transitions and adhering to due dates for action items
- Maintaining transition plans in a using a tool such as MS Project to create schedules, project plans, manage resources, and keep accurate records of time spent completing tasks that make up an implemented distribution center objective
- Facilitating meetings to drive execution through the lifecycle of assigned work and driving the discussion of breakdowns and breakthroughs within a project, analyzing events to develop and determine techniques for mitigation response
- Organizing regular updates with key stakeholders to ensure initiatives are successfully executed including conducting project review meetings to highlight significant updates, identify opportunities for improvement and appraise the quality of support offered to our functional partners
- Utilizing FMEA to evaluate processes for deficiencies and potential failure risks within our industrial distribution centers and identifying the root causes and impacts of findings on the quality and effectiveness of any given process
- Ensuring that resources and personnel are allocated to support the execution of an assignment, providing relevant personnel with clear task delivery expectations and support, and directing the team towards optimal action
- Managing Company compliance expectations, documenting and tracking project milestones and procedural standards, including monitoring business readiness activities and updating key stakeholders of project progress and deviations from timeline
Must have experience with the following in order to complete the above-mentioned tasks:
- Ability to define, assess and refine manufacturing and distribution operations
- Ability to develop and drive project plans and adapt them to accommodate changes
- Ability to provide sound solutions to operational challenges
- Business acumen including analysis with understanding of logistics cost structures and cost drivers
- Ability to effectively motivate and hold people accountable for their task-level responsibilities verbally, written and via presentations
- Ability to influence and collaborate with all organizational levels to build project plans and drive attainment of objectives
- Ability to simplify complex scenarios for successful integration into project plans, communication and execution
- Ability to facilitate difficult conversations with employees across the organization
- Ability to anticipate changes, challenges and opportunities with current strategies and execution
- Proficient in use of project management planning tools
Other Qualifications Include:
- Requires a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Operations, Engineering, or related field
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience as an Operations Project Manager or related occupation
- Hybrid option to work from home available, minimum 2 days in-office per week
- Travel required: Less than 30% in the US and Canada
Compensation Package : $121,701 - $171,800 USD annually + bonus eligibility
The above reflects the target compensation range for the position at the time of posting. Hiring compensation will be determined based on experience, skill set, education/training, and other organizational needs.
