The Opportunity:
Leads moderately complex projects that generally have been assigned a medium to high corporate priority. Participates in negotiations with internal or external clients; assisting clients in the development of business plans, strategies and approaches to take advantage of business opportunities. May manage vendor relationships including conducting planning session with vendors and service providers to define project scope and performance expectations. Provides subject matter expertise in areas including project management, setup of local project offices, project scope definition, risk identification, project methodology, resource allocation, facilitation, and other areas of expertise based on professional knowledge and background. Makes presentations to management on project updates, project cycle, and expected results. Ensures projects are completed on time and in scope.
The Creative Services Project Manager (PM) is a highly skilled professional with exceptional project management and client communication abilities, dedicated to delivering outstanding client service. This role partners closely with the Integrated Marketer to execute internal client requests, ensuring marketing materials are delivered on-target, on-time, on-budget, and on-brand. Acting as a key point of contact, the PM manages the development, production, and publication of literature and digital campaigns across all product categories.
The PM collaborates seamlessly with clients, design teams, and production teams, driving creative direction while maintaining alignment with strategic goals. By actively participating in creative development meetings, the PM ensures that final deliverables meet the highest standards, adhere to the creative brief, and are executed with precision. Their ability to oversee projects from concept to completion guarantees smooth execution, brand consistency, and impactful results.

- Collaborate on creative direction and development with clients, design teams, and production teams to ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Participate in creative development meetings, ensuring final output adheres to the creative brief.
- Partner with outside agencies to manage clients’ marketing efforts when required.
- Oversee the end-to-end project lifecycle, including developing, managing, and publishing literature and digital campaigns.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, working closely with internal teams to execute marketing initiatives.
- Review clients change requests, assess schedule/cost impacts, and propose effective alternatives.
- Negotiate timelines and budgets, maintaining strict adherence to all deadlines.
- Ensure all branding guidelines are strictly followed for assigned projects.
- Recommend effective reuse of past materials to optimize resources and minimize costs.
- Obtain required images, artwork, copy, and logos from internal clients, collaborating with content and design teams to create original materials when needed.
- Ensure all projects comply with the creative brief, project specifications, and industry standards.
- Obtain final sign-off on all projects before release.
- Develop, maintain, and strictly adhere to project schedules, identifying key milestones, risks, and contingency plans.
- Leverage knowledge of graphic design, creative production, video, animation, and marketing best practices to enhance project outcomes.
- Continuously optimize workflows, ensuring process efficiency and reducing project turnaround times.
Requirements:
- Ad agency project management experience, preferably in print, direct marketing, digital campaigns, and promotions.
- Strong ability to negotiate timelines and budgets while maintaining project integrity.
- Proven track record of managing multiple projects (+50 projects) simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional communication skills to bridge the gap between clients, creative teams, and production teams.
- Team player with excellent relationship-building skills
- Adept at crisis management
- Able to work independently, resourceful and solution-oriented
- Excellent written, verbal, communication and presentation skills
- Strong understanding of the creative process as well as video, animation, design and print/web production
- Successful track record at client service in a marketing or creative environment
- Ability to create and execute successful marketing tasks within an overall framework
- Detail oriented
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop, define or in some cases redefine SOP

JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in marketing, communications, advertising or business
- 3-5+ years of professional-level experience in a project management role either in an external or internal agency in the print/publishing/marketing fields
- Proven project management skills in a complex environment
- Knowledge of and experience with the following software programs: Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, etc.)
- Knowledge of and experience with Workfront
- Knowledge of the following programs is helpful, but not required: Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.)
- Knowledge of Biopharma Industry a plus
