About MoCaFi:

MoCaFi is seeking an organized and resourceful Project Manager to support the launch of an exciting new financial inclusion program in St. Louis. This groundbreaking, philanthropy-funded initiative will open trust accounts for 300 historically disadvantaged youth. These accounts will be accessible upon the participants turning eighteen for eligible uses such as higher education, small business ventures, homeownership, or retirement. This program is the first of its kind in the City and County of St. Louis. This Project Manager possess strong organizational abilities, excellent communication skills, and a proactive mindset to ensure the successful launch of this program.

Timeframe:  November 1, 2024 – April 30, 2025 (20-24 hours/week, 4-5 days/week)
Compensation:  $40 - $55/hour (depending on experience)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and refine the project launch timeline, tracking actions, deliverables, and responsible parties.
  • Coordinate internal and external tasks related to contracting and onboarding third-party vendor contracts.
  • Proactively prepare agendas and materials for stakeholder meetings, documenting and following up on next steps.
  • Organize and maintain project files and shared materials.
  • Take a resourceful approach to ensure the successful launch of the pilot program.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Urban Planning, Social Sciences, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of work experience in project management, preferably in fast-paced and complex environments.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with great attention to detail.
  • Proficient in project management software, collaboration tools, and the Google and MS Office suite.
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
