The role
As Project Manager you will effectively lead, manage and co-ordinate projects to deliver agreed business outcomes. This includes delivery of business change, technology and information systems that meet identified business requirements.
You’ll help us make health happen by
- Overall responsibility for leading, managing and motivating a cross functional project team
- Direct accountability and responsibility for delivery of allocated projects
- Actively develops and maintains own business and technical expertise
- In conjunction with Group Procurement, negotiates service levels and specifications with senior customer management and suppliers
- Contributes to, and ensures the set-up of, appropriate contracts for the supply of products and/or services.
- Responsible for the day-to-day relationship with suppliers (including off-shore resources). Ensuring appropriate monitoring of contracts and Master Services Agreements, authorising or initiating any actions that may be required

- Experience of running complex projects across a number of work streams
- Running multiple projects or a large project
- Excellent stakeholder management abilities
- Solid judgement and decision making
- Acts as internal advocate for the project
- Resilient and pragmatic, stays calm under pressure
- Strong leadership and people skills and strong team player
