Job Description

The BDA/ Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS) Project Manager is responsible for customer and partner engagements for in-building DAS installations. You will assist in cultivating project opportunities by providing excellent customer service, maintaining quality assurance, and building a financially successful project. 

The ideal candidate needs to be a good communicator, highly organized and detail-oriented individual. This is a fast paced environment managing multiple opportunities in the various stages of design, proposal and implementation. The success of our group relies on timely responses, exceptional coordination with our preferred partners along with our internal stakeholders to ensure the flow of tasks related to business proposals and project management.

Responsibilities:

  • Developing and executing direct opportunities from request through the award process.

  • Collecting customer requirements from the requestor to support the design process.

  • Coordinating either internally with the in-house design team or externally with one of Motorola Solutions select partners for design creation.

  • Work with the team to generate turnkey pricing from implementations.

  • Pulling together final package to be delivered to our stakeholders and ultimately the end customer.

  • Managing scope changes throughout the negotiation process

  • Upon award managing the transition to the Project Delivery team.

  • Support the team during deployment as necessary

  • Track project performance.

  • Participate in project review and status meetings, and communicate project status.

Preferred Skills:

  • Must be a self-motivated team player able to work effectively with general guidance toward objectives.

  • Must have excellent interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (WORD, Excel, PowerPoint & Project).

  • Working knowledge of two way radios / cellular infrastructure communication products, services, and systems.

  • Understanding of local public safety customers, such as Police, Fire, and Emergency Medical Services preferred.


Basic Requirements

Required Skills:

  • Associates or Bachelor's degree in Business, Communication, IT, Management, or Technology

  • Experience in one of the following areas: Public Safety Communications Systems, BDA/DAS, Military communications, Civil construction , or IT Networks required.

  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required. Employer work permit sponsorship is not available for this position.
