Our Project Manager role is responsible for leading and overseeing the planning, execution, and successful completion of complex projects. This role involves coordinating with multiple stakeholders, managing resources, mitigating risks, and ensuring that project goals and objectives are met on time, within scope, and within budget. The project manager must maintain clear communication channels, provide regular progress updates, and ensure adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements.
This is a 12 month contract role.

What you'll do:
- Collaborate with senior management and stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
- Manage the refurbishment and relocation of client sites.
- Develop project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, budget estimates, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Coordinate project teams, ensuring clear roles and responsibilities.
- Monitor project progress, budgets, and milestones to ensure timely delivery.
- Run regular meetings, track tasks, and follow up on actions and responsibilities.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for project communications and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
- Identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues; implement mitigation plans.
- Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Resolve conflicts and conduct project reviews to identify improvement areas.
- Facilitate project closure, including deliverable handover, documentation, and post-project evaluations.
- Identify and implement process and methodology improvements to streamline projects.
What you'll bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Project Management, or a related field is desirable.
- Relocation and refurbishment experience, preferably in an IT environment.
- PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
- Advanced experience in project planning, execution, and delivery within scope, time, and budget constraints.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project).
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information to IT and non-IT stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and a commitment to meeting tight deadlines.
- Ability to manage ambiguity and adapt to a rapidly changing business environment to prioritise accordingly.
- Strong interpersonal skills, intellectual rigour and curiosity, and ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Occasional travel may be required to project sites or stakeholder locations in Australia.
