Coffman Engineers is seeking a Project Manager with 3-5 years of experience to assist our team in defining a project, developing a set of tasks to accomplish the project, coordinate and monitor the work involved in the tasks, and deliver a final product on time and within budget. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, have a desire to work and grow with a multi-discipline engineering team, and successfully work with others to achieve goals.
What you will be responsible for:
- Supervise and manage a small to medium‐sized multidiscipline design or construction project with supervision.
- Maintain favorable business relationships with clients, consultants, and contractors.
- Make routine project decisions regarding design and contracts.
- Involvement in client, civic or professional groups.
- Understand budget, schedule, and quality aspects as related to design and construction projects.
- Good verbal, written and organizational skills.
- Possess computer skills necessary for daily activities including email, word processing, spreadsheets, graphics, and, if applicable, a working knowledge of computer‐aided drafting and Revit.
- Performs other duties as may be assigned.
Qualifications
- BS degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or related science required.
- Minimum of 3-5 years in direct construction project experience preferred.
- Able to multi‐task and prioritize in a fast‐paced environment.
- Possess strong critical thinking, organizational, and analytical abilities.
- Able to maintain positive working relationships with internal and external customers.
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
Expected annual salary of $80,000 - $105,000.
