The Project Management Lead LatAm (Director level) is a new role with direct management responsibility of a team of project managers. The role will be critically important to drive excellence in project management and innovation governance, supporting the LatAm R&D Lead and the broader LatAm leadership with project and portfolio recommendations based on high proficiency in data driven portfolio insights and to foster and develop best practices, capabilities and behaviors within the project management team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the LatAm innovation governance forum with high proficiency.
- Partner closely with the Portfolio team for comprehensive reporting and reviews with key stakeholders.
- Drive efforts to identify, evaluate, and embed best practices across the organization.
- Design, develop, and implement new tools, processes, and ways of working.
- Lead capability building and embed PM best practices through coaching, mentoring, and training.
- Deliver high-complexity innovation projects and/or programs.
Leadership:
- Role model HALEON Culture.
- Guide and prioritize projects, providing orientation and development for the team.
- Manage a team of 10 project managers.
- Lead capability building and embed PM best practices and behaviors in the team.
Project Management and Innovation governance:
- Instilling high proficiency and role modelling of accountability with the team of project managers.
- Ensure project teams are built upon project approval, partnering closely with cross-functional leadership.
- Ensure timely decision-making, effective stakeholder communication, and adherence to processes.
- Identify issues proactively and drive resolution.
- Ensure significant changes to the business case are communicated rapidly.
- Ownership of innovation governance process, preparation and outcomes. Accountable for providing a strong advice to governance leads based on portfolio data and insights, resource availability and project assessments,
- Owning the pre-gate meeting and accountable for ensuring that the governance presentations have sufficient quality, clear time-line assumptions and business cases to enable governance decisions

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
- Bachelor’s degree in sciences, Business/Finance, Engineering or any related area
- 10+ years of experience in Marketing, Supply Chain, or R&D, including Project Management in a FMCG/CPG environment.
- Proven delivery of effective project management across a range of project types and complexities.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Strong ability to understand the big picture and link it to project/program goals.
- Expertise in clear verbal and written communication.
- Strong ability to influence and challenge through courageous conversations.
- High proficiency in building trust with teams and stakeholders.
