RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, ISO, RC regulations, and site policies while supporting safety initiatives like Safety Reviews and PSSRs.
- Lead CAPEX and maintenance projects, ensuring timely delivery within scope, budget, and quality standards.
- Develop project plans, manage budgets, and negotiate contracts with contractors and suppliers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design solutions, improve processes, and enhance plant performance.
- Assess risks, implement mitigation strategies, and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Maintain project documentation, provide updates to stakeholders, and support seamless integration with operations.
- Analyze equipment reliability, implement solutions to reduce failures, and update procedures to reflect industry best practices.
- Participate in contractor bid processes, field audits, on-call rotations, and site turnaround priorities while maintaining updated CAPEX forecasts.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or related field).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project engineering within an industrial plant environment.
- Proven track record of managing CAPEX and maintenance projects.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
- Solid organization skills including attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Working knowledge of SAP and MS Office Suite.
- Possess a broad-based knowledge of engineering fundamentals, manufacturing, operations, standard industry practices, regulatory issues as well as cost and schedule management as they relate to project management
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in Project Management (PMP or similar).
