Project Engineer

For Project Engineering services in the Capital Projects area. 

WHAT MAKES YOU A FIT: 

The Technical Part:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering and a minimum of five (5) years of exposure in project engineering. 
• Bilingual, Spanish and English (good communications)
• Shift: Administrative and according to business needs. 
• Experience in:
  • Capital Projects.
  • All project phases, from initiation to completion, providing. leadership and coordination.
  • Change Control development and support.
  • Project status reports.

AS A PIECE OF FITS, YOU WILL: (The day-to-day on the job)

• Manages contractors in the field, coordinates construction permits, promotes contractor safety compliance, and assures construction control.
• Serves as a link between contractors and area owners.
• Resolve issues and work coordination between contractors.
• Participate in manufacturing project planning activities, generate the mechanical completion documentation, and provide support. 
• Assist in developing and maintaining project plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Track project progress and identify potential risks and issues.
• Monitor project timelines and ensure timely completion of deliverables.
• Coordinate with project stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective communication.
• Develop and implement change control procedures to manage changes to project scope, schedule, or budget.
• Review and approve change requests, ensuring they are justified and aligned with project objectives.
