Project Controller
Based Crawley – hybrid, working 3 days per week in the office

About the team
Project Controllers in Thales are a critical part of the Project Management team. Day to day you will work closely with one or more Project Managers and Project Technical Leaders, but you will also be part of a Project Controls community which will support your professional development with coaching/mentoring, targeted training and professional certification as appropriate.

Our opportunity
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and ambitious Project Controller to join the Thales Underwater Systems (UWS) team based in Crawley. You will be responsible for providing PMO support in the delivery of our customer commitments supporting the Project Management Team. You will provide an effective specialised Project Control including the provision of accurate, integrated and meaningful bid and / or project planning and reporting. This will include monitoring, analysing and reporting for bid /project schedules to ensure that information is used in bid / project decision-making based upon the status of the most up to date schedule

About You:

You have proven successful “hands on” experience in planning, scheduling, data analysis & cost control within a complex engineering/manufacturing environment covering high level & detailed schedule compilation, programme reporting, budgeting & risk management.

Must be proficient in using scheduling tools such as Oracle Primavera & standard business administration software
-
You quickly build strong relationships with key stakeholders.

You multi-task and prioritise without the requirement for regular direct supervision.

You stay calm and rational under pressure and you have the ability to establish and meet deadlines.

You will bring structure to complex situations, have a keen eye for detail and the ability evaluate, interpret and communicate complex information.
