As our Project Control Analyst, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive project control support, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and performance measurement. This role involves working closely with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain project schedules and project plans (critical path and dependency analysis) using project management software.
- Monitor project progress (Status) and performance (Baseline and Resource mgmt.,) identifying and addressing any issues or risks.
- Prepare and present regular project status reports to stakeholders.
- Assist in the development of project budgets and track expenditures.
- Analyze project data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure alignment with project goals and objectives.
- Support the preparation of project documentation and deliverables.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in project control performing the following: project schedule, project plan, critical path and dependency analysis, resource allocation, baseline management, status monitoring, and related project management activities.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
- Experience supporting federal government projects.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP, CAPM).
Knowledge of financial management and cost control principles.
