Freese and Nichols Inc, is looking for a Project Accountant in Dallas, Texas with experience in project accounting with a primary focus on contract review, project maintenance, revenue recognition,  and project invoicing.  

Responsibilities:

  • Set-up of projects in the accounting system, reviewing and maintaining project-related documents, including contracts and amendments, revenue recognition, reviewing and approving timesheets, data analysis, and processing invoices that align with client and contract requirements.
  • Occasional travel between offices is required, as needed.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in Accounting or Finance role.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, initiative, and attention to detail with the capability of working independently.
  • Familiarity with Accounting software.

Preferred

  • Prior experience within the Architect/Engineering industry preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business preferred.
