Working collaboratively with the Risk and Quality departments for HRMC and entity leadership for affiliates, establishes and maintains all processes within systems. Establishes and maintains a solid working relationship with all departments and entities to facilitate a better understanding of the databases and how they affect those entities. Requires a clear understanding of Internal Controls surrounding security groups and database maintenance principles.

This role is salary and nonsupervisory.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Functional lead for Midas implementation across all interfaces.

• System Administrator for various operational systems to assist with problem resolution, building organizations, maintain reporting, creating new processes to improve systems performance, assist other departments with Risk Management issues.

• Research and document issue resolution within systems for all departments as problems arise.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Quality and Risk, and other stakeholders to define project requirements, system functionality, and processes.

• Develop testing and quality assurance processes to ensure system functionality meets requirements of the organization.

• Develop and implement training and communication plans to ensure system users are properly trained and informed on system processes. Ensure clear concise documentation is created for future reference and onboarding new employees.

• Assists with the updating of all database elements, tables, dictionaries, interface processes, data integrity and validity.

• Create, test, document setup for new reports and dashboards, as needed and requested from Quality and Risk departments.

• Work with other departments to setup stat reporting within operational systems.

 Create workflow processes to automate reporting.

• Maintain confidentiality in all financial department activities. Abides by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability (HIPAA) privacy and security regulations regarding all aspects of Protected Health Information (PHI).

• Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Advanced knowledge with computers and productivity, word processing and statistical programs.

• Basic understanding of medical terminology, anatomy & physiology, pathophysiology and the delivery of care in various settings

• System configuration experience or other healthcare database configuration experience

• High level of customer service skills and ability to deal with all types of situations and problems in a calm and professional manner.

•Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks and projects in a fast paced and stressful setting.

• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and professionally at all times.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Database basic information. Building new processes within Midas a plus.

• Knowledge of healthcare quality, risk management and process improvement

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

3 years experience healthcare Information Systems OR RN/other clinical certification

Software applications  and reporting knowledge
