WHAT YOU’LL DO AT FISKARS GROUP?
We are looking for an experienced Program Manager to join our strategic program to deliver the separation of our two Business Areas Fiskars and VITA into separate legal entities. The selected person will play a key role in this vitally important program, which is considered a dress rehearsal for our future ERP transformation.
Join us in an exciting role where you will drive the transformation within Fiskars Group, a global home of design-driven brands for indoor and outdoor living. This role is pivotal in overseeing multiple work streams of our transformation program, including SAP and other ERP systems, across multiple countries and integrating various third-party applications. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional executive communication, high-level planning, and leadership skills to drive this program to success.
Responsibilities:
- High-Level Planning and Oversight: Develop and maintain comprehensive program plans that include key milestones, deliverables, resource allocation, and timelines for all work streams. Anticipate challenges and proactively adjust plans to ensure program goals are achieved on time and within budget.
- Executive Communication and Reporting: Serve as the primary liaison between the program team and executive leadership in major transformation programs and projects, providing clear, concise, and impactful updates on program status, risks, and achievements. Prepare and present high-level summaries, strategic plans, and progress reports to the board, C-suite executives, and other senior stakeholders, fostering trust and confidence in the program's direction.
- Strategic Leadership and Vision: Ensure that all program activities align with the organization’s strategic objectives and support business growth, operational efficiency, and seamless integration. Ensure that the overall vision, strategy and roadmap for key transformation programs are well understood across the organization.
- Work Stream Coordination: Oversee and coordinate multiple work streams in collaboration with Fiskars and vendor project managers, ensuring interdependencies are managed, risks are mitigated, and progress is monitored across different countries and teams.
- Budget and Resource Management: Provide high-level oversight of program budgets, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively and financial objectives are met. Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with third-party vendors to maximize value and performance.
- Risk and Change Management: Proactively identify and assess program risks, particularly those that impact strategic objectives and executive priorities. Develop and implement robust risk management and change management plans to navigate challenges and maintain program momentum.
WHO YOU ARE?
Experience:

Education: Master’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, Information Systems science, Industrial Engineering or similar

Experience: 5-10 years of relevant experience managing business transformation programs and projects, such as mergers, acquisitions, carveouts and major reorganizations in an international environment. Experience from transformations involving ERP, particularly SAP transformations.

Leadership skills: Strong leadership skills, ability to prioritize own and project team’s work under high pressure and changing priorities

Communication skills: Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate at all levels of the organization. Able to build relationships and navigate through a complex matrix organization.

Project management skills: Excellent project management skills necessary to implement project according to agreed objectives, scope, timeline and budget. Experienced in creating project plans of varying granularity and able to assess the feasibility of vendor-created plans. Experienced managing and following up on project budgets, including forecasting, tracking expenses and optimizing resource allocation.

Professional working proficiency in English, which is the daily working language in Fiskars Group. Interviews for this position are also held at least partly in English.
