Essential Duties:
Lead diverse technical teams in successfully executing multiple government and/or industry prime programs through all phases of design, development, and production.
Serves as primary customer interface responsible for meeting cost, schedule, and performance.
Directs teams in the establishment of plans and milestones and monitors adherence to them. Identifies risks and problems and proactively finds solutions.
Directs the work of functional leads and administrative staff assigned to programs.
Ensure compliance with all relevant federal regulations, including FAR, DFARS, and other applicable guidelines.
Monitor program performance, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
Prepare and present program status reports to senior management and government officials.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals and objectives.
Coordinate cross-program/cross-portfolio interactions and impacts.
Lead proposal teams and manage potential customer opportunities.
Required Skills:
7+ years in technical project leadership or management
Experience and management responsibility of $10M+ government contracts
Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and interfacing with government as well as industry prime customers is highly desired
Knowledge of system engineering as well as program and project management processes and tools
Knowledge of the government acquisition process is desired.
Strong analytical skills and multi-tasking abilities
Strong written and verbal skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) as well as Project
Experience working with high performing teams is desired.
Ability and passion to repeatedly build high performing teams is essential.
Education Required:
Bachelor’s degree required
Master’s degree, or Doctorate in Engineering, Math, Physical Sciences or Business disciplines desired
Special Requirements:
US Citizenship
Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance is highly desired
Compensation:
The base salary range for this full-time position is $145,745 - $186,688 + bonus + benefits.
