About The Role:
Gen3 seeks a talented Program Manager to play a key role in supporting program management for our federal client.
What You'll Do:
- Manage designated program tasks from initiation through completion
- Develop detailed task plans including schedule, budget, resources, dependencies, risks, and metrics
- Coordinate with various departments to ensure task alignment with overall program goals
- Monitor task progress and performance, oversee scope and schedule management, and take corrective actions
- Manage and guide task team members, fostering collaboration and communication
- Escalate issues and risks to senior management and support mitigation efforts
- Prepare regular task updates and detailed progress reports
- Ensure tasks comply with all regulatory standards and requirements
What You'll Need:
- 5+ years of program/project management experience, preferably in government contracts
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills
- Proficiency in using project management software tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Bachelor’s degree required in a related field like Business or IT
- PMP or CAPM certification is a plus
What's Desired to Have:
- Previous experience supporting federal or state government agencies, especially federal financial agencies i.e. IRS or Treasury, is highly desired.
